England & Wales 3 Month Sales Change
Across England and Wales, the average sale value rose by 0.1% over the past three months. Although the average essentially shows no change, the numbers vary greatly depending on where you are in the country with local changes varying between -4.3% and +3.8%.

England & Wales 3 Month Rental Change
Across England & Wales, the average rental value again increased by 2.3% over the past three months. However the variation across the country remains very large with areas in the North and West seeing increases of as much as 12% over the period. In contrast large areas of the country saw much more modest growth and in some areas the rental value fell.

London 3 Month Sales Change
Across London, the average sale value increased by 0.2% over the past three months with the usual variations across different areas.

London 3 Month Rental Change
Over the past three months, average rental values have increased by 2.6% with some areas seeing increases of as much as 6%. In a similar picture to last month, Central London remains the exception where the rental value growth of recent months appears to have levelled off.

As always, these numbers are area averages. Different types of properties in the same location can perform very differently to each other.
